Sally L. Satel, M.D.
Sally Satel is a practicing
psychiatrist and lecturer at Yale University School of
Medicine. She is staff psychiatrist at the Oasis Clinic
in Washington, D.C. Her research on drug courts is
supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and she
has written extensively about drug treatment.
In addition to publishing widely in
medical journals, Dr. Satel's articles have appeared in The
New Republic, City Journal (Manhattan
Institute), The Los Angeles Times, The Wall
Street Journal, The New York Times, SLATE,
The Public Interest, and The Women's
Quarterly. Of particular interest are the problems
of politicized science and intrusions of political
correctness into medicine and research.
